THATPAINPUP(it/its) is an experimental artist with a concentration on flesh manipulation. Its approach to art centers around its unique skills as a masochist while also providing clear-cut representation to the trans, disabled and LGBTQIA+ communities respectively. It is plagued by a variety of disabilities, the most notable being VEDS (Vascular Ehler-Danlos Syndrome) a cardiovascular disease / connective tissue disorder that affects its collagen, cardiovascular system and internal organs.

THATPAINPUP believes that masochism is one of the strongest and most challenging proclivities it can undertake given the circumstances, striving to create a well-embodied portfolio that others may learn, grow and draw motivation from. It draws inspiration from other high-level masochists such as Bob Flanagan and Carta Monir.

THATPAINPUP spends its free time making art, continuing its community impact, and pursuing passions with its Dominant, Sir Rue, and it will until the end of its days.
